lazor-kit

The open-source passkey wallet infrastructure for Solana.

What it does

From the project README:

Passkey-native smart wallets on Solana. Users sign with FaceID / TouchID / Windows Hello, the paymaster covers gas, and on-chain RBAC + spending limits decide what actually goes through.

Dapp: devnet deploy pending

⏳ Devnet deploy pending — goes live when the devnet wallet is topped up. This fork's own dapp is not deployed yet, so there is no program address or transaction to show. It is queued in dapp-queue.txt; once devnet SOL is available it is deployed, exercised with real devnet transactions, and this section switches to the live dapp at /dapps/lazor-kit/. Until then, the lesson and step-by-step guide below are complete, and you can run it locally with the commands below.

Key code, explained

Excerpts chosen automatically where the code uses the most Solana concepts, pinned to the fork's commit.

lazor-kit/lazor-kit · app/migrate/src/App.tsx L397–420 @ 20fd18a · MIT · original
      // too large, nothing has been sent — sign again.      const migrateInstructions = plan.migrate.finalize(response);      if (txBytes(migrateInstructions) > MAX_TX_BYTES) {        throw new Error(          'Your browser made that signature a little larger than usual, and the move no longer ' +            'fits in one transaction. Nothing was sent — press Move again.',        );      }       const signatures: string[] = [];      const send = async (instructions: TransactionInstruction[]) => {        const { blockhash: recent } = await connection.getLatestBlockhash();        const message = new TransactionMessage({          payerKey: payer,          recentBlockhash: recent,          instructions,        }).compileToV0Message();        const tx = new VersionedTransaction(message);        let signature: string;        if (local) {          tx.sign([local]);          signature = await connection.sendTransaction(tx);        } else {          signature = await paymaster.signAndSendVersionedTransaction(tx);
  1. Line 408 const { blockhash: recent } = await connection.getLatestBlockhash();: Fetches a recent blockhash. Transactions expire if it gets too old.
  2. Line 418 signature = await connection.sendTransaction(tx);: Submits the signed transaction to the cluster.

How to run, build and test

These commands come from the repo's own manifests (package.json scripts, Anchor.toml, Cargo, go.mod, Makefile). Check the README for prerequisites and environment variables.
